Pathways: Integrating Human Dimensions into Fisheries and Wildlife Management
Pathways meets every other year, in even-numbered years. Submission deadlines are around April/May, and the conference is usually held in September/October.
Description: Pathways is a conference and training program designed to address the myriad issues that arise as people and wildlife struggle to coexist in a sustainable and healthy manner. The official mission is to increase professionalism and effectiveness in the human dimensions of fisheries and wildlife management field.
The conference is held in Estes Park, on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park. If you have extra time during your visit, you can enjoy the stunning location and many opportunities for recreation.
Pathways offers an option to purchase a bed in a shared room, to be arranged by the conference. This can be an economical way to find boarding, and the student registration fee is also very reasonable.
