Annual meeting of the Association for Environmental Studies and Science
The annual meeting for the Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences usually has submission deadlines in January, and the conference is usually held in June.
Description: AESS is an explicitly interdisciplinary organization that seeks to serve faculty and students in higher education, and its annual meeting is thus strongly interdisciplinary with a broad focus on environmental research and teaching. It is frequently attended by scholars in a wide variety of environmental disciplines, in the natural and social sciences as well as the humanities.
In the roundtable discussions offered at AESS, participants engage in discussion and/or planning around a particular theme or challenge; these can be good opportunities to meet other researchers, generate ideas, and discuss your research as it relates to the broader theme of the roundtable discussion.
