Annual Meeting of the Society for Risk Analysis

The Annual Meeting of the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) usually has submission deadlines in May, and the conference is usually in December.

Description: SRA is an interdisciplinary organization within the focus on risk analysis. SRA defines risk analysis broadly to include risk assessment, risk characterization, risk communication, risk management, and policy relating to risk, and special groups such as the Risk Communication Specialty Group and the Ecological Risk Assessment Specialty Group provide a more specific focus.

The annual meetings involve participation from the diverse members of SRA: scientists and practitioners trained in a wide variety of disciplines, employed by government, industry, consulting firms, NGOs, academic institutions, and themselves.  Meetings also include educational workshops related to risk analysis, which are held one day prior to the regular meeting.
